MEET BEAMER

Beamer is a heavily boned and densely muscled (his legs are like little tree trunks!). His muzzle and chin are strong and square. His ears are large and well-furnished, with nice lynx tips; their set is good. He has a clean, gently curved profile and a wonderful innocent expression that belies the mischief he's almost certainly thinking about getting into. He has a lot of coat, especially for a cat his age; in fact, he has so much coat that it makes his muzzle and ears look more moderate than they really are.

Beamer is a sweet, loving fellow who purrs nearly all the time (our vet had trouble listening to his heart because he couldn't get him to stop purring). He is chatty and friendly and loves to "mark" his favorite people and things by rubbing against them. If you say something to him from across the room, he will "make biscuits" with his front feet and purr at you -- that is, if he doesn't just come over and fall into your lap. We are thrilled to have this lovely and sweet-natured fellow, and are very grateful to Richelle Godfrey and Rob Goodall (Luvpaws Maine Coons) for allowing him to come and grace our home.

Beamer is now retired and lives in a pet home in Canada.
