"Lillian"

Lillian is a silver classic tabby female, pictured above at 7 weeks of age.
She is spunky, smart, and affectionate, and is always the first to investigate a new situation.
Like her mother, Lillian loves to play with (and in) water.

We call Lillian our "spring-loaded kitty" because she often jumps several feet vertically into the air -- repeatedly -- when going after a teaser toy. Her energy and stamina are impressive.  Lillian doesn't bother to plan her landings, so she often lands right on top of her littermates. (Her sisters are learning to stay out of her way, but Eddie's sense of of self-preservation isn't as well-developed, so now he is nearly always the one who gets flattened.)

Lillian's slightly demented expression is due to the fact that we're waving a teaser toy to get her to look at the camera. (Shortly after this photo was taken, she launched herself at the toy, disrupting the photo session and landing on poor hapless Eddie, who always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.)
