Hana's 3rd Litter: Beren

Beren is a brown classic tabby and white male, son of Hana and Rumble. Like his littermates, he is named after a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings

MEET BEREN

Beren is smart, friendly, and impertinent. As one of the two largest kittens in the litter (the other is Eomer), Beren is used to getting his own way. He is often the ringleader when it comes to getting into trouble. For example, he was almost certainly the kitten who invented the innovative drawer-opening technique that led to the Great Toothpaste Incident, although based on the state of their paws, we are pretty sure that the entire litter contributed to the new "paint job" in the bathroom. (Of course, when questioned, none of them admitted to any wrongdoing.) Less than a week later, Beren kidnapped Katie's tiny Polly Pocket doll; we suspect he had been planning to ransom her for a can of Fancy Feast, but since the doll was rescued soon afterward, we'll never know for sure.

Despite his reputation for petty crime, Beren is very much a "people cat," gentle and affectionate.
